Dyffryn fernant gardens
Yesterday I went to visit the garden at Dyffryn fernant with beryl and the goat society she belongs to. They are situated at the foot of the preselli mountains near Fishguard in the most beautiful setting. Covering about 6 acres the amount of work required to keep them looking so beautiful is staggering, they must spend all their time working in them. I wish I had a bit more space in my garden to take advantage of some of the inspiration I got there.
Thank you beryl for taking me.

January in my garden
Yes, I know January has long gone but I have been very lazy lately and unmotivated by all the wet and windy weather we have been having for ever. Anyway here are some of the photos I took last month.
At least some things are looking cheerful, even if the weather isn't!
And then came the snow and covered everything up

My November Garden
At last, there's a chance between the showers to spend a bit of time in the garden instead of just darting out to feed the birds!
The grass has even been too wet to walk on to clear up after Finn as much as I should.
Anyway today I managed to walk around and see what is happening out there, and as you can see there is still a bit of colour about.
And this is the view from my bedroom window. The Rosa Rugosa provide a good splash of autumn colour.

A New Visitor to the Garden
I've lived in this house for nearly 20 years and I have never seen a squirrel in the garden before, so I was really pleased to see this one although he didn't look to pleased to be there!

Fuchsia Fest
Here are some of the Fuchsias in my garden at the moment. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
There's some confusion as to whether this is in fact a Fuchsia, but I'll include her anyway because I love her!
Isn't she beautiful?
