Autumn might be well and truly with us but there is still a bit of colour in the front garden this morning.

Just sitting here in my chair, chilling.

My best friend at my feet.
It's so peaceful here. I can hear the wind in the trees but my spot is sheltered .The sheep  are calling to each other in the fields beyond but here in my chair the wind chime is tinkling gently and I  feel I can sit  here forever. A blackbird on the telephone wire calls gently before going on her way.

I look at all the jobs that need doing, the jasmine needs trimming back, there's convovulous growing amongst the ice plant,  a rose has sprung up in the middle of the marjoram and I really should put that melon rind that I put down for the butterflies to enjoy but the slugs said thankyou very much instead into the compost bin. And that's just what I can see from here. There's a load of wood needs cutting including the two rotten garden chairs. But what the heck, it's Sunday and I feel lazy today.

We had rain!

And then the sun came out.
