This is the second year there has been no frog spawn in the garden, but my son brought me some from the pond in his garden for Mothers Day. I hope it will turn into little frogs who will start a new community here, I missed my little froggy friends last year.

Some of the visitors to my garden in the last week.

First noticed this furry visitor feasting on the seeds the birds had dropped under the feeders, personally  as long as he stays outside and doesn't come indoors and nibble my electric wires I have no problem with him but the neighbours are pretty paranoid so I moved the seed feeders to the other side of the garden. Today I looked out of my window and was lucky enough to catch him on the peanut feeder in full view of anyone passing, so now the peanut feeder is over the other side of the garden.

Managed an hour sitting in my chair in the sun this afternoon listening to the birdsong. A little Dunnock was scratching in the soil next to me and a pair of Bluetits were checking out the birdbox on the telegraph pole at the end of the garden, I hope they move in.
