After publishing my last post I realised it had been a whole year since the previous one! This is surprising as during our first lockdown the weather was beautiful and I spent most of the time out there either doing my patchwork, reading or tending the vegetable patch. I'm afraid the rest of the garden was left pretty much to it's own devices, although there was a major cut back of the pink jasmine over the shed.

Back to the present and I woke up to ice on the wheelie bin lid,

on the container with the waterlily in,

the bath for the frogs

the glass top of the table

and the drinking station for the bees.

The rooves were white with frost and the pavement was slippery with black ice.
